Good times with Auntie Darcy Part 1
We picked up Auntie Darcy at the same airport that we arrived at! I was so excited to see her.
here comes Auntie Darcy!
Waiting for Auntie Darcy at the nintendo Check in
When we were waiting for her, we finally got to go in the Nintendo check-in. (That is where you can play Nintendo games. I tried to play Kirbys Epic yarn. I liked it. We picked her up and headed back to our place in Osaka.
The next day, we were heading back to Kyoto. We went to the the Fushimi Inari Shrine/Temple.
Mom and Auntie Darcy wanted to go there because it used to be their last name. It is famous for it’s thousands red gates.
There are also a lot of fox statues because they are the messengers of the rice God called Inari. I liked that temple.

Mom and Auntie Darcy decided to go and look at more temples. So, Dad, Sammy and I went to an arcade. I finally won some thing, plastic diamonds. It was cool to win something.
The next day, we also saw the Golden temple called Kinkaku-ji. It was a really nice temple. I loved that temple because it was fun. I lit incense sticks and tried to throw coins (for wishes) in a pot.

We went to see the Japanese snow monkeys.
We walked through the bamboo forest too. It was a nice spot. It was mostly in the shade with lots of Bamboo.

at the end of the bamboo forest there was a river
Auntie Darcy, Mom and I went back to Osaka castle. I was in charge of making sure we got there ok. I am pretty good at figuring out the subways and trains here.
Look I found the castle!
checking out the moat
We showed Auntie Darcy the castle and I loved learning about everything there.
When we were finished doing the tour of the castle, Auntie Darcy and I decided to dress up as samurais again. It was so much fun.
We also went to Nara.
Nara is where you can see the Japanese deer. You can pet them and feed them deer cookies. I was a bit nervous at first because they could be a little bit aggressive but I got used to it after some tries. It was so much fun.
There were temples there too.
See ya later alligator.
Nate:)
