Monaco is the second smallest country in the world behind the Vatican City. It borders France and a sea border of Italy. It’s population is 38,695. Collingwood's population is 21,793 and that is just a city in Ontario...this is a whole country!
Their flag is red on the top and white on the bottom. The red part of the flag represents flesh of humans and the white part represents the soul and spiritual life.
Its capital is the only town in Monaco named Monte Carlo.
It is run by a monarchy. The kings name is Prince Albert the 2nd and for some reason it says prince not king. The heir to the throne is Alexandre his son.
Monaco gets to enjoy 300 days of sun thats only 65 days without it.
Don’t go to Monaco to break any laws because its the most policed country in the world. It isn't because it’s not safe, it's because the rich demand it.
When we were there we saw Grandma & Grandpa. They came in on a great big cruise ship. Lucky! . We walked up to the royal palace.
We saw the changing of the guards. It is a tradition that has happened for 100 years and happens at 11:55am everyday.
